THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE CONTINUES THE SNOW ADVISORY FOR THE WEST SLOPES OF THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL CASCADES ABOVE 3000 FEET. THE ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 10 PM TODAY. AN APPROACHING FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL BRING 4 TO 8 INCHES OF NEW SNOW BEGINNING LATER THIS MORNING AND CONTINUING THROUGH TONIGHT.
