Just in from the pass

Snoqualmie Pass is in sad shape right now. There is an 18" base... it needs about another 12" to cover up all the rocks, roots, and tree tops. There are still some serious boulders sticking through the snow. Keep your new Christmas board in your garage and bust out your rock board. Today brought new meaning to taking a tree run. I managed to get into some flats, and the only way down was through some trees... tree tops that is.

Today must have been national ski school day. There were at least twice as many kids under 15 years old then adults.. notice the picture. Needless to say the lift lines were a disaster and the high speed quads were operating in slow motion.
